*raises hand* Ooo ooo! I wanna work something out!

I have a Turly and I have a Rhys. xD The Rhysia here is pretty much nearly the same as the one on Dalibor only a lot more unruly. She's already a dragonrider and she's sort of hard to make friends with because she's very fickle. Turlough is the person I sort of want to focus on for now since he's the Candidate and the runt.

I want someone to either pick on him or help him to come out of his shell, but I think you might want to decide for yourself what he needs since you're making the character and all. I'm just looking for stuff to do...

Just a side note, however, Turly is totally L'natic's slave...in Lnnyverse...if that helps you scheme in any way. ;3

Aw, squee! I'm excited to see you both replying here! No worries on any lack-of-muse, I can be patient- and really, you're both such amazing writers that any wait is worth it. As long as you're ultimately having fun, all is well! <3 Aren't I so cheesy?

But, yes, plottings, got it! Hmmm, hmm, lemme see.... Okies! I may have something! I'm trying to think of a way for you to get a two-for-one deal there, someone who will pick on the dear Turly and attempt to bring him out of his shell as well. A friendly bully, in a way? I can imagine some boy, perhaps older than Turlough, that's just extremely impulsive and careless about the things he says. He picks on the boy, teases him mercilessly, but ultimately does attempt to encourage the boy to open up and get more confidence in things. He'll just have absolutely little to no tact about it. X3 What do you think? Turly may or may not hate him, but my guy won't care. He'll latch on all the same.

Jack, any ideas how L'natic might respond to such a relationship, if he would at all? If Purn gives my concept the a'okay, then I can imagine he'd be a little scared of L'natic, really nervous around him - but with every intention of acting tough and nonchalant about it. Maybe he'll even attempt to dawdle about the guy sometimes to pester and prove a point.

I personally think that's kinda cute. xD Of course, its Purns character though so she has the final say. ;D

I think Loony would....be less than amused. xD;
Anything that came between him and his self-proclaimed servant will be considered a threat, and the more buddy-buddy they would get--and thus less useful Turly would get--the more likely Loon would be to step in and be a brat.

Early in that relationship, however, I'm sure he would regard your guy with cool distaste. Would probably cause some mischeif, 'cause that's just what he does. If he were provoked in any way, however, he would nonchalantly do what it takes to dispose of the annoyance.

I'm talkin' vats of acid casually knocked over...anvils dropping from the sky...writhing piles of poisonous--because he probably dipped them in acid--tunnelsnakes in the bed...that sort of immature, spy-movie level of strange sort of 'get rid of it' attempts.
The serious ones would all fail horribly, of course. More or less it would be an attempt to be scarier than he already is.

I'd have to say Jack, L'natic is certainly my most favorite of all the characters you've created. xD He's like a member of the Adams Family! The long-lost post-graduate uncle or something.

I'm honored that Turly is his self-proclaimed man-slave.

But that sounds like a great concept, Cy. A friendly bully would be an interesting spice to add to this colorful gumbo *is totally hungry*. I approve. :3

Turlough is likely to respond a little slow at first, just because he doesn't let people bother him easily. It's one of the reasons why L'natic can pretty much get him to do anything. He tries to be useful but he's still hovering about like a ghost and he's actually a person somewhere inside. If there was a character to really pry and get on his nerves, he would be likely to forget all the horrors he faced to an extent where he would be more alive than he is.

But he's not that much of a talker unless you can get him going, and he doesn't get angry easy at all. If you make a character that shows a lot of uncanny interest towards Turly, he's likely to just end up accepting him. He probably won't stand up to L'natic and ask the Bluerider not to kill him though. xD He has gotten to be a sort that looks out mostly for himself.

L'natic is definitely a character, I reeeally rather enjoy him, I do. X3 I look forward to his antics! They'll surely work in the way of frightening my boy (I just can't imagine how they wouldn't, geezum!), no doubt. No killing him, of course! But I don't mind an injury or two or several, I can see him cursing up a storm and stomping off to go complain all about it to Turly.

"Look what that maniac did to me!" *waves injured limb about!* "...ow. Hug me." XD Okay, maybe not quite like that, but you get the gist.

Boy will learn to not pester L'natic real quick! Of course, getting hurt and all, he'll need to be healed... Ruh-roh.

He'll be a talker! He'll be a talker and he'll try to shove Turly into being an active part of conversation as well, even if that means a heck of a lot of taunting and overall tactless encouragement. Hell, I bet Turly's lack of response is what catches my boy's uncanny interest in the first place. Bwaha!

So, yay! That's a yes all-around for him? I'll get started on whipping him up, asap! <3

And I'm toootally still open to making more, so if anyone needs someone- LET ME KNOW!

As I haven't seen Cy whipping him up any time soon and she will be beaten back over here eventually, I'm going to go ahead and sidle on in to plot. I was thinking that maybe your fine character could have been a refugee with Jubilee and Tralalee? Unless you already have an idea of where he might come from. I just thought 'hey, that could happen' and then he would know even more people and he'd be super connected. Also, as he's already a forward character from what I'm seeing, Jubilee could try to mother him, which probably wouldn't work out too well.
