Name: W'liam [Woaliam]
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Sexuality: Bisexual? Ish?
Location: The Weyr
Rank: Weyrhealer
---
Personality: W'liam is extremely sympathetic, thoughtful and has a lot of compassion for others. He just really cares about other people in general, which, in essense, is what makes him a good Healer. He knows the words that other people want to hear when they're sick or hurt, and can deliver them. He rarely ever puts himself before other people, going so far as to use his own blood to make his patients recover. His whole life his about healing and protecting other people, no matter how much or how little he knows them. He doesn't judge the people he treats and acts the same to each person he meets. He's a very accepting person.
And due to this compassion, W'liam tends to be easily manipulated by other's kind words and actions. He is easily swayed to sleep with someone, even if already in a relationship, though he feels extremely guilty afterwards. He tends to be a pushover in relationships as well, doing anything he can possibly do to make the other person happy. This is true in friendships as well. He is an enabler, he lets people do what they want, even if he doesn't approve even a little bit. He defends his friends and is a very loyal person. He doesn't take friendship and trust lightly.
However, he's not entirely a pushover. He does have a strong set of morals, though they might bend and twist a bit at the hands of other people. W'liam does speak out against things that he doesn't believe in, and if someone does something he doesn't approve of, he does rant at them. W'liam is definitely a voice of reason, and acts a lot like a conscience. He's able to see the consequencs of actions (or it might just be pessism that lets him see the worst possibly outcome) and will try to talk someone out of doing something stupid. Despite that, he can be pressured into "letting loose" and "having fun" at times.
As for temperment, W'liam is very easily panicked, despite being the voice of reason. He lets little things get to him, though he is pretty good at keeping calm under huge amounts of pressure. It's mostly the thought of really being a doormate (which he is, in all honesty) that sets him off. He doesn't like it when other people use him, and absolutely cannot stand his trust being betrayed. If he really cares about someone, he takes it personally when they betray his trust... though that doesn't mean that he takes everything seriously. He's got a small mischevious side to him and knows how to get back at people with little pranks. He's clever in his own way.
Appearance: Light brown hair Dark brown eyes Physically fit, not a stick About 5'8''
History: Woaliam was born at Southern Weyr, the son of a flight, like most Weyrbrats. He was given to a foster mother immediately, as his parents didn't want to deal with a baby. It wasnt unexpected, as most dragonriders did it, so Woaliam grew up like a normal weyrbrat. He made friends easily with his cheerful demeanor and love to make other people happy. He was sort of the pushover of the weyrbrat group, the one they made run and get things for them and the one they'd trust to tell their secrets to. He was almost a psychologist at the simple age of ten, becoming the mediator of his small group of friends.
At twelve turns, Woaliam became a Candidate, along with his group of friends. He still remained the mediator and sole voice of reason of the group, stopping them from many nasty pranks that would have definitely gotten them banned from multiple Hatchings. He was a clever sort, though, and always found ways to get back at them when they finally decided to turn their pranks on him. Sawing the legs of the chairs of the desks they used in Candidate Lessons so they fell when the others sat down was one of his favorites, and it never failed to get back at his friends. They soon learned to stop pranking him.
But one by one, all his friends Impressed, and Woaliam didn't. At 17, most of his friends had already either Impressed or left for another Weyr, and Woaliam found himself alone. Only one of his friends remained, a girl that he soon found himself involved in romantically. And this was just the start of Woaliam's relationship troubles. They were Candidates, so it had be a secret relationship, which ended up not working very well. Silian wanted a more real relationship and suggested they transfer to another Weyr and be regular Weyrfolk together... but Woaliam didn't want that.
And despite his easily pushover ways, he didn't want to just let her walk all over him, so he said no. She threw a fit and dumped him, leaving for another weyr. About half a turn later, he met another girl. She was the clingy type, and so was Woaliam, and it didn't end up being a good match for either of them. For his 18th birthday, she decided to give him a firelizard egg. Woaliam had never really wanted or cared for a firelizard, but he accepted it anyway, to make her happy. It hatched into a Brown, and he named it Shakespeare.
It didn't take long for Woaliam to find himself another girl... the only problem was, he was still with the first one. After cheating, he told her, and naturally she dumped him, leaving Woaliam without a relationship. It was then that he definitely swore off girls... promising himself that he would Impress first, and worry about girls later. His failure with girls and failure to Impress were starting to get to him, causing Woaliam to slip into something akin to depression. And it took another year for him to finally Impress, at the age of 19.
The Hatching was almost over, with one final egg left. Woaliam had given up again, and was tempted to turn and start walking with the others, when the final egg hatched open to reveal a Green. She was a beautiful creature, rather serpentine in her appearance, and a rich green color. And, despite Woaliam's depression, she came straight to him. Are you sad, W'liamMine? Don't be, your Meiseth is here. We'll go get food together, she informed him, her voice strong and clear and sounding nothing like the doormat he was. She was independant, and she could say no where he couldn't.
And with Meiseth, W'liam grew.
Not much, mind you. He was still much of a pushover, but she was his conscience where he was the voice of reason to others. Being as independant and strong as she was, Meiseth would always inform W'liam when he let others push him too far, or when he let them step on them too much. She wouldn't stand for any abuse to Hers, and was quite protective. However, unlike W'liam, Meiseth was aloof and didn't get along all that well with other dragons. She did get along with Shakespeare, though. He would probably be considered her best friend.
When VT hit, W'liam was already a Healer. He'd trained for a while and was very good at what he did. He wasn't as good as some of the people around him, but he was decent and could definitely be a competant healer. VT still took a lot out of him, as no matter how experienced you are, seeing the people he tried to treat so desperately turn into lifeless husks was saddening. But he fought the thread, as well. He greatly respected Avine and Sereldeth, and would follow them anywhere. And that anywhere just so happened to be "The Weyr", their new home.

Dragon Name: Meiseth
Dragon Colour: Green [46A33D]
Dragon Length: 21 ft.
Dragon Age: 7 Turns
Personality: Meiseth has something of a "cool big sister" aura to her. She's a bit aloof, and doesn't care as much for other people as W'liam does. However, that doesn't mean that she doesn't care, she just doesn't show it as much. Hers has all the emotions he needs, why would she need to give him any more of them? But Meiseth does know what to say to comfort people, even if that skill is only borrowed from Hers. She just doesn't care to, most of the time. She doesn't care about much anything, and is a bit lazy in itself. Very few things catch her interest, and everything else she just doesn't care about.
So she, in a way, is definitely W'liam's voice of reason. She's far more indepedant than he could ever be, and often tries to stop him from enabling bad behaviors in others, though she rarely ever succeeds. She's not pushy and really only makes offhand comments. To other dragons, while aloof, Meiseth is quite a bit flirty. She has an almost purr to her voice, making everything she says sound almost seductive. She doesn't fly often, however, as while flirty, she doesn't care enough about other dragons to let them fly her. It's just a game, because everything is a game to her... if she can get enough interest in it.
Appearance: Meiseth is very elongated for a Green, she has a very serpentine look to her. She's not the biggest, and is in fact more on the smaller side. Her tail is long and her limbs are a bit short, and just by looking at her it is obvious to tell that she's far more comfortable in the sky than on the ground. Meiseth is rather awkward on the ground and, as such, doesn't really enjoy it very much. She's in the air as often as possible, stretching her large, almost awkwardly sized wings. Unlike on the ground, she's a very graceful flier.
As for color, she's a very deep color of an almost lime green. Her hide isn't vibrant, as it has more of a duller tone to it, richer in color and tone. She's a pretty much solid color, and her hide doesn't fade or change colors at all. She's got a bit of darker green along her stomach and neck areas, but other than that nothing is really noticeable.
