I'm keeping the rest of it a secret for now, but here's what would have been happening IC:
Due to weird sightings on some of the unclaimed Ring Islands, Avine of gold Sereldeth has called together a search party to check it out. She is asking for any able-bodied person to help out, save for weyrlings.

K'nan and Chal and/or C'fael and Ansyth would be more than happy to be involved, though I understand if only K'nan and Chal are chosen in order to keep one of the very few Weyrhealers left out of any potential dangers.
