It was still night when Moth began to move, uncurling her long body from its slumbering knots with her eyes open and glowing, looking beyond her surroundings and out to the skies. Delicately, she slipped from her couch near A'ku's bed and tip-toed towards the mouth of her weyr, stretching her long neck out to stare out over the well-lit night. Small nostrils flared with a deep intake of breath as the dragoness let out a quiet trill of sound, a distant whistle that echoed across the Weyr's rocky bones.
A'ku stirred with a sigh, leaning on his arms as he let his bleary gaze rest on his dragon, eying the shine to her already pearlescent coat with a quirk of his lips. "Can't wait for the sun, beauty?" He didn't get a response as Moth flicked her tail, spreading her wings at the edge of her ledge as she stretched her body out, staring intently at the massive, glowing moon. It lit up the world with an eerie glow, its light bouncing off of her length form and giving her an even more unearthly glow. A'ku simply watched as she leaned back onto her haunches, lifting her front legs and spreading her claws as she arched her neck....and leapt into the skies with a trilling roar.
Dawn was slowly beginning to stir, but the moon was still the brightest light in the sky as she challenged the air around her, her trumpeting call more musical than dragonlike as she glided across the scene, circling once...then twice before plummeting towards the herdbeasts. Powerful claws ripped into terrified hide as the dragoness lifted...and then dropped the younger animal, landing delicately beside it to lap at its dying side. A'ku swallowed as he closed his eyes, feeling the rich red blood as it slid down her throat, and fed the fire in her belly. He gave another sigh, sliding his hand through his hair, and rolled out of bed, standing shirtless in the spring air at the edge of his home. He leaned against the stone as Moth set into the skies again, singing her lonely, lingering song as she shot across the awakening horizon.

The night was silent as usual, calm and cool, the soft breeze making the room feel just right. A'do was snuggled under his furs, one arm tossed over the edge of his bed, fingers a mere hairsbreadth away from the floor. Hair clung to his forehead, and his breath was slow and deep, a sure sign of deep dream filled sleep.
Montreth on the other hand was a bit restless. Eyes moved about under his eyelids and his tail twitched. Something was calling him. Lifting his head, the stormy blue gazed out into the clear night sky, eyes seeking out what ever had awoken him. It was only when a few stars were blotted out that he noticed it. He found who was calling him. Trilling roar reached his ears, and he stepped down from his couch, stretching his wings and legs.
It was this activity that woke up A'do, groggily, he looked up, his dragon a mere blue blur in his sight. One hand lifted to wipe the sleep from his eyes and he focused on the smaller blue. Montreth? He questioned. He was answered quickly by a glance to gradually darkening eyes, the purple strong in them. She calls for me A'doMine. Moth calls for me, and I will not let her dance alone this night..
A'do merely grinned, stooping down to scoop up a shirt and pull it on. Go get her you sly beast. It's not kind to deny a woman. And he should know. A'do was a ladiesman. One hand ran through fluffy, blond hair in a vain attempt to tame the bedhead. He didn't care though. The first wave of lust washed over him, and he took a moment to revel in it before climbing on to Montreth's back. He had to pause for a moment to think. Who was it that rode Moth again? His groggy brain was having a hard time remembering. A'ku Came Montreth's short but kind reply. A'ku? But, that was a male's name! A bit of panic mixed in with the lust. He wanted to tell Montreth he couldn't chase, but A'do knew that was futile. He held on as Montreth took wing, depositing his rider quickly and haphazardly on A'ku's ledge before twisting away.
Montreth had no care for A'do's quarrels at the time. Moth had called to him and he would respond. He was light in the air, his slender body twisting to allow his wings to catch choice thermals, each sweep of his wings bringing him closer to her. He first caught sight of her as he neared the herdbeast pen, she had blooded and was taking off once again. Montreth let out a deep, melodious bugle in response to her sad song. Moth, your Montreth has come for you. He called following a few length behind her.
The stone was cool on A'do's bare feet, but he did not care. A second wave of lust hit him, and he rode along with it, sauntering confidently into A'ku's weyr. If Montreth was going to chase, then A'do would make the best of it. Dark eyes took in A'ku and he had to admit. He was handsome.

Isaath stirred, awakened in the early morning. He couldn't quite place what had pulled him from sleep, unable to yet identify the feeling stirring in his breast, but he raised his head, peering out into the dim light of the night with glowing eyes. Near to him, in the depths of their weyr, the bronze's rider stirred as well, sensitive to his dragon's state. Was it morning? It seemed dark. He opened his eyes a fraction of an inch, but he didn't have sight like Isaath's and found it hard to see. The Sr. Weyrleader, acting only, for the time being, but comfortable in the position, proud even, reached out to his dragon, trying to understand what was happening. It was then, however, that Isaath heard Moth's trilling roar and all became clear. A flight! A flight! Oh, to chase Moth! Isaath rose and stretched, preparing to quickly take to the air. M'laus, meanwhile, groaned. It wasn't that he minded a flight, but it was early. For once, he had been hoping to sleep.
However, his enthusiasm soon returned, aided by the subtle influence of Isaath's growing lust, and he rolled out of bed, hopping onto his feet. Isaath stood at the edge of their weyr, gazing down at Moth as she tore into a young herdbeast. He could use blood, he knew, but he could not urge himself to move himself from his place. He would not go any closer to her, not yet, not for another moment. Then Moth took flight once more and he lunged into the sky, bringing his strong wings down in a sweeping stroke. He surged after her. It took him a moment to catch up with her in the air, though he rose swiftly on his huge wings. By that time, she had another suitor, a blue, and he eyed the smaller dragon in mild distaste, but then he let it go. He did not speak, but he did answer her song. His voice was not made for music like hers, but his rider knew of music and his deep bass voice rang out, a thrum beneath her song.
M'laus followed the faint sounds of their music, following the tendrils that floated from within his own mind. Isaath did not wallow in his lust, but it was there and it egged the bronzerider onward to A'ku's weyr at an easy amble. He joined Montreth's rider in the greenrider's space. His eyes wandered over the pair, wandering between them. He was there for A'ku, of course, but he had more trouble merely passing over A'do than his dragon. A worthy opponent for sure, this bluerider, perfectly handsome. However, when M'laus briefly closed his eyes, all he saw was Moth and heard the refrain of her song. Earthly concerns were left behind, it seemed, though as soon as M'laus thought it, Isaath pushed it from his mind. There were many earthly things to consider! They chased Moth and he had no intention of losing her. They needed to consider much to give Moth the respect she deserved. M'laus hummed beneath his breath as Isaath borrowed the notes he knew. He sang for her, sang to answer her!

The air felt marvelous as it flowed across her flesh, soothing her burning skin and sending chills down her spine. Even as she sang out to the dragons of the Weyr, she sang to the skies as well, her musical voice chiming without pause as she twisted slowly through the night. The moons glowed against her hide as she sang, reflecting against her pastel skin and shimmering with an ethereal glory in her eyes. But even as she trilled, seeming strangely content simply to twist and turn in the cool air, the voice of another made her sing out ever more.
Large wings flared slightly as she banked to the side, trilling laughter shimmering in her maw as her eyes swirled eagerly. Montreth...Montreth... She sang, twisting into a lazy spiral up into the skies. But even as she sailed effortlessly up, she kept a careful eye on the Blue and the quickly approaching Bronze. Such handsome males to sing and dance in her nightly ballet. All at once, she spread her wings wide, flaring the unique markings and showing them strongely to the stars before abruptly tucking them, diving down to the ground below in a sheer plummet.
Far before she hit the ground, she spun into a roll and snapped her wings up, pumping them powerfully as she shot up into the sky, her eyes glowing eerily in the night. Beautiful males they may be, but they would not easily catch her yet! The skies were wide, the moons were watching, the stars were smiling and the sun was soon to be waking. She would dark and dance and sing to her hearts content before she selected a partner for her duet, and all before the sun opened its eyes!
As Moth began her performance, reaching out to the skies with her unearthly voice and dance, A'ku began his own movement. He was no where near as graceful or as beautiful as his dragoness, but his eyes seemed to glow as much as hers as he eyed the man dropped into his weyr. He had no need for a solo as his beauty did, and as she began to test the dragons who came for her, he merely flicked his eyes over A'do and began to move forward. Slim arms, topped with skilled hands, reached up and around the bluerider's shoulders, pulling him closer as the teenager locked his eyes with the other's, begnning to lean up. Before he could brush his lips against the rider's, however, the arrival of M'laus stopped him, and he leaned back slightly to survey the newcomer.
Pastel eyes flashed as he swiped his tongue over his lips, pulling slowly away from A'do and sashaying towards M'laus. There was a distinct, insatiable urge in the slight sway to his hips, an emotion that reflected very keenly in his eerie stare. He reached out and threaded his fingers through M'laus's, tugging him insistently forwards even as A'ku himself walked backwards, back towards A'do.

Wings sculpted the air beneath him, shaping it into a form that would carry him to her. She was dazzling, the moons making her glow. She was so ethereal, like a dream he dared to chase only to disappear at the last moment. His own dark hide blended in well with the night. Not so dark that he became lost, but not light enough for him to be seen easily. The sound of the bronze alerted him that he would not chase her along. Glance was cast to the larger dragon. A worthy opponent, that was to be sure. But the blue knew he could out maneuver the bronze. He would prove himself!
Blue crooned, pleased when she spoke his name. Eyes whirled joyously as he rolled in the air, letting it wrap around him. He kept his eyes on her, his prize. His Moth. He watched as she spiraled up, his wings flaring to catch the air as he too rose. He would follow her movements. He would compliment them, like a good dancer should. But he would not over step his bounds. Moth was the lead in this dance. Montreth was more than willing to let her shine.
He paused in the air, hanging for a moment before following her dive. He could feel the stars and their laughter. He could feel Moth's song, blending in with the sounds of the night. Ground quickly approached but he would not waver. Wings were quick to flick out and take control, sweeping great gusts of air beneath him to carry him higher and higher. Draconic laughter filled the air around him as he spiraled up. It was a lovely night to fly! To chase!
If there was one thing A'do loved about chasing, it was the feeling of he an d his dragon being close. He had learned quickly not to fight the lust, but enjoy it. He was MontrethA'do. He was both the singing blue and the man. Breath caught in his chest when the green rider approached, easy smile crossed his lips when arms wrapped around his shoulders. Soft hands reached out to caress the young man, fingers tracing from A'ku's ear to his chin. Lips came so close to touching, but it was not meant to be quite yet.
Blue eyes quickly turned to the newcomer and for a moment, MontrethA'do saw Issath, not M'laus. But the image was fleeting, and human soon replaced the dragon. Small scowl found it's way to his lips as A'ku pulled away for the bronzerider. But expression soon softened, A'do was never a man of anger, even in dragonlust. When A'ku started walking towards him again, he took a few long strides to meet him half way.
