He asked brusquely. In response, the black seemed to smile, his eyes swirling in smug expression, before he was slowly moving to lay himself down. He wasn't budging a bit. K'rbin frowned, moving his arms up to cross them over his chest. Now it was Caeluth's turn to blink back at him, though he hardly did it dumbly or with confusion. He knew exactly what was going on. And he knew exactly who would be getting their way. Kier's frown deepened for a moment. “Fine,” he relented, raising his eyebrows and shrugging his thin shoulders. “I'll go look around and you can stay right there, I don't care.” With that, he was swiveling about on the toes of his boots to begin walking off down the corridor of the barrack, intent on checking out this new place called home and perhaps some of the people he'd be living alongside. He didn't get very far before he was attempting to discreetly peek over his shoulder back at Caeluth, part of him expecting for the black to have given him to start following after him. He didn't catch the dragonet at any such thing. The male was still quite patiently lying at the exact same spot that he'd been left in, now with his head down and his eyes closed. Sighing harshly, he dropped his arms to his side and spun back around to begin marching back. Caeluth was so ridiculously stubborn. 'Mine, Mine, K'rbinMine – you know you can't do anything without me now.' The black sounded endlessly amused, quite cheered with how His returned to him. Maybe once the boy stopped with all this nonsense of random wandering about, he could get him to go get him something to eat. He was feeling a bit hungry. K'rbin didn't share Caeluth's amusement. “Oh, shut up.” He snipped, moving right back to the spot that he'd left, crossing his arms once more, looking every bit the petulant child that he was. “Will you just come on?” As could be predicted, Caeluth didn't budge. K'rbin sighed again.[/ul]

It was a strange sensation, moving again. Well, not moving as in picking up your feet and walking, but moving as in picking up your things and re-situating into a new home sort of moving. It wasn't a concept Z'mbie was completely unfamiliar with--his memories were limited to moving into Hope Hold the moving into the Weyr--but it felt strange to be doing it again. Or maybe it wasn't the "again"...but the "not alone" part that was odd.
So this, uh...this is our home, Z'mbieMine? Cheerful eyes flicked down, lingering on the dogsized creature peering curiously into the room, and the teenager cracked a happy grin, laughing. "Sure is...well...apparently it sure is!" Laughing, the Weyrling strode into the room, setting down the small boxes of things--all he owned--on the desk before giving the whole room a good lookover. "Its big, isn't it? I've never lived in a room this big. I'm usually squeezed in wherever there's room. Feels weird to have this much space!" Quick on Z'mbie's heels, Tellumoth too slid into the room, his eyes whirling with interest and flickering with Z'mbie's cheer as he set down a sack full of small fishing nets that he had insisted on carrying. He licked his chops--to get the taste of sea water out--and tapped over to Z'mbie, leaning against him slightly as he gave the room a good looking over. What'll we do with all this room? Throw, uh, a party? A good natured smile flickered in his eyes as he flicked Z'mbie with a wing after his "joke", joined by His's laughter as he chortled with amusement.
"I'unno about a party, Tellumoth...people'd be elbowing people a lot I think." The dragon shrugged and moved to the doorway, sticking his blue head out to peer around curiously Just a suguesston, Mine. "I think you mean 'suggestion'..." The brunette replied as he joined the dragonet at the door, looking around with a tired grin at the other doors along the hallway. They were all closed, their occupants happily inside, and it looked as though any sort of interaction would have to--bright eyes blinked as Z'mbie caught sight of K'rbin, lurking outside his room with his dragon playing dead at his feet. He tilted his head completely to the side, trying to understand the whole thing, and barely noticed when Tellumoth mirrored his actions completely. "Hey! Everything okay over there?"

The teenager muttered under his breath, a vague sneer pulling at his upper lip. 'How interesting.' Caeluth didn't even care to budge an inch as he spoke. Absurd and lazy beast. The sound of a voice behind him was a relatively welcome distraction, raising his brows and turning his head to glance over his shoulder to take in the identically tilted noggins watching his dilemma. He vaguely recognized the human face peering at him, though he wasn't entirely sure he could place a name on it. “No. It's not.” He answered honestly, that sneer still lightly pulling at his lip, an eyebrow cocked up. He looked back to the black heap in front of his door. The dragonet hadn't moved, still settled on the floor in a lazy sprawl, neck stretched out and eyes closed, draconic features disappearing in the overall coal darkness of him. “This shardin' dragon won't move.” He explained with all the disappointment that he felt about the matter leaking into his voice freely. Finally, Caeluth cracked open an eye, just enough to reveal a swirling slit of blue, but the response had nothing at all to do with K'rbin's complaints. Instead, he offered up enough motivation to simply take a peek at the individuals speaking with His. He recognized his pale brother, remembering the panicked way that he'd scrabbled about the sands at the loss of their other brother. Tellumoth hadn't seemed to find the event so amusing. Which Caeluth found amusing in itself. Closing his eye back up, the dark dragonet chuckled to himself at the memory.[/ul]
