Indeed! I think that Spinner and Leeloo will have quite the little stand-offs too. After all, Spinner is THE MOST AMAZING flit in the world. Yes. She's better than a gold, so where does Leeloo get off on with her commanding little squawks? =P

Also... In response to Reky (because I recently re-read S'tia's bio), Elana could possibly befriend the man? They seem to have similar optimistic attitudes about the future and the importance of friendship and human relationships in general, so I think they'd probably get along well enough.

I'm gonna be easing out of my threads pre-impression, since that does nothing to move the storyline forward, and instead I'll be looking for new post-impression thread so that we can get some fun going on here! =D Yes? Yes. Sounds good.

So... who wants to thread with me? ^^ Maybe some fellow Weyrlings, perhaps?

I wouldn't mind a post-Impression tango. :3 With whoever--I don't mind. I've got a small slew of characters to choose from, including a couple of Weyrlings. A'non's a cool guy, but his dragon's intolerable to most. T'lough's quiet and detached, but Cereth is a sweetheart.

T'lough/Cereth:
He's a kind boy and Elana would certainly be kind to him (she's kind to most folk), but she's also not incredibly outgoing. My feeling is there'd be few situations that would get them to speak to each other, but if they happened to stumble into each other she'd certainly not think twice about talking to him. And once they got to talking I think they'd find plenty of things in common.

Otherwise, we can through C'lin at him. C'lin would have fun trying to get T'lough out of his shell, although I wonder if maybe the green weyrling might be a bit much for the boy. Nonath would love Cereth. I think they'd get along like two peas in a pod, those two. ^^

A'non/Theath:
C'lin might be one of the hooligans A'non hangs out with, although Nonath will probably cry dragon tears whenever Theath is rude to her. C'lin also has flitters, which A'non hates, so that could be fun too. C'lin and A'non themselves, though, might end up getting along all right. They both sort of put on an act and would probably have a rather superficial friendship. Ditching chores, pulling pranks, and being general partners-in-crime might be in the cards, too. C'lin hates to do more work than he absolutely has to.

Elana, meanwhile, will probably think of A'non as being like one of C'lin's shallow friends and sort of politely avoid him. Not that she'd ever be outright mean to him, just not really go out of her way to spend time with him or talk to him. Maybe, though, they can run into each other and be forced to talk? Chores could be good for that. Or maybe he has something made of metal that needs fixing? Either way, once they started talking she might lighten up a bit. Juneauth will not be at all amused with Theath and will send death threats his way every chance she gets. They may very well end up being arch-enemies, which I think would be absolutely hilarious and fun. =D

Any thoughts or ideas or suggestions? Sorry about the length... I didn't mean to give you a whole backstory or whatever... just ended up turning out that way as I was thinking aloud (or just typing whatever came to mind). ^^ I'm being really indecisive at the moment... which probably isn't helping, is it? >.>

I think T'lough may be a little to withdrawn for plotting with when it comes to Elana. You're right; he wouldn't go out of his way to talk to her and I'm sure she wouldn't do the same. With C'lin, it might be cool, but a lot of nothing would happen for a long time...

But maybe in a thread with T'lough, Anon, and C'lin we can make it work out. :3 A'non kind of likes hanging around people he thinks are his friends and T'lough's one of those poor unfortunate souls on his list. Cereth will try to pull Hers along so he can make some friends, A'non will try to pal around with his fellow Weyrlings like a boss, and T'lough will kind of just deal.

And I think an arch-rivalry between Elana and A'non would be epic since come four turns from now Theath would probably try to fly after Juneath...and get his pretty face torn up for being such an arrogant prick-o-saurous. xD

Goodness... A'non would have to do something terrible for Elana to consider him an arch-rival... or maybe he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and said the completely wrong thing? We shall see. Either way, Juneauth will be happy to rip apart Theath's dashing good looks. She already hates him. And will probably always hate him. But that's what makes this fun. ^^ And, of course, T'lough/A'non/C'lin antics sound lovely.

The question is, though... which shall we thread first? =O

I'm feeling more of an Elana vibe right now, but I can do either.
